Associate Professor Filip Maric : The Arctic University of Norway

Filip Maric, PhD, is an Associate Professor at UiT The Arctic University of Norway and the Founder and Executive Chair of the Environmental Physiotherapy Association, the first international network of over 1000 physiotherapy clinicians, students, academic and professional representatives seeking to advance environmental awareness and responsibility across physiotherapy research, practice and education (http://environmentalphysio.com/). He is also founding member of the Critical Physiotherapy Network and chair of its German-speaking section, the founder of the UiT Environmental Humanities network, and member of UiT sustainability think-tank tasked to develop a sustainability strategy for the northernmost university in the world (https://uit.no/baerekraft). Filip’s interests and research span widely across health, environment and society, including planetary health, sustainability studies, and the environmental post/humanities. Filip leads the EPT Agenda 2023, an international collaboration of over 70 physiotherapy education institutions seeking to implement planetary health, environmental and sustainability education into physiotherapy education around the world (https://eptagenda2023.com/).

Lena Gudd : Artist Researcher & Walker Partner

Lena Gudd is an artist-researcher based in Tromsø, Norway/ Sápmi, where she explores human and nonhuman entanglements through the prisms of plant-based photography and environmental humanities. She is currently working towards a PhD in art history.

Assistant Professor Charlotte Taanevig : The Arctic University of Norway

Charlotte Taanevig is Assistant Professor and Lecturer at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, renowned as the northernmost university in the world. Alongside her academic role, Charlotte also serves as a board member of the Norwegian Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists Association, actively contributing to the field. With a genuine passion for promoting health and well-being, she practices as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in Tromsø, providing care to patients seeking rehabilitation and pain management.

Charlotte’s research interests revolve around areas such as sustainability, planetary health, epidemiology, and the prevention of disability and disease. She is currently aligned with Fit Futures Study and strives to uncover new knowledge that can address health challenges and improve long-term outcomes.
